Parking Logistics
Parking on Allen Road is limited and can be highly challenging due to the narrow mountain terrain. Because we anticipate a large turnout, we strongly request that guests carpool whenever possible to minimize the number of vehicles on the shoulder.
Park on the shoulders of the roadway, but DO NOT block neighboring driveways or impede emergency vehicle clearance.
You can Uber/Lyft up here but you cannot get an Uber or Lyft pickup to go home. If you use a service, make sure you find someone who can drive you down to Woodside when you leave.
What to Bring
Just your presence, your families, and your favorite memories of Matt. Casual, comfortable attire is fully welcomed.
Important Note on Mountain Weather
Our home is located at an elevation of 2,300 feet. While mid-August is typically warm at sea level, it can become foggy, windy, and quite cold up on the mountain.
We highly recommend dressing in layers or pack a warm sweater or a windbreaker jacket in your car. Be sure to check here the day of the event for a local weather report.
